Not so sure about the best defensive team in the league….take a look at the Easter conference records. They are as inferior to the West as ever.

Their last 5 games though where they went 5-1 was solid though.

Their record at this point has been built up against Eastern Conference teams and the Western teams that are out of playoff contention. They did beat the Lakers; but have now lost to Portland, Utah, Denver and the Spurs.

Yep, you have been saying that for a while now. Im a believer. When the smoke clears, things will likely be much like last season, with only a couple of legit eastern teams.

Their last 5 games, they went 4-1 against playoff teams that are all .500 or higher. That is still solid. Earlier part of the season is a different story.

At the moment, the only one who appears to be in the minds of the Spurs FO is Green. that said, Spurs will need to make a decision during the offseason.

But of course, Paul George isn’t going anywhere. if all goes according to plan in his playing days, he’ll be a Pacer for a long time.

TP was terrific, yet again, Timmy continues to be a beast, and despite getting “Pop’d” (bj1der quote), Tiago is still being huge off the bench…. a very fulfilling win… and against a top-tier opponent, at that!

I don’t think Tiago’s been known for rebounding. He’s pretty good in boxing out though which helps his teammates in grabbing some boards.

I saw a stupid looking article about how the spurs need help on the front page of espn. It’s a part of that whole “Future Power Rankings” non sense, which is part of insider. I was hoping that somebody bold enough to ante up the dough to the evil empire could enlighten me what these basketball sages have in mind for trades we should make.

These people still think the spurs are old and need to make a trade to be competitive. I’ll tell you whats getting old, that whole “the spurs are too old crap.” We have three players older than 30 and a solid bench that contributes. What more do you want?

Great win tonight and what a confidence booster. I still don’t think we should bring Manu back until after the AS break. Also before everyone gets so excited about Manu coming back did anyone consider how rusty he’s going to be especially for not having played over a month and whose minutes is he going to take up? Manu’s not a point guard so he won’t replace Tony besides Tony’s still young.

Manu could score no field goals and still single handedly win the game for us. Green is like Manu-lite in this regard. Have you forgotten the OKC game in which manu didn’t score a field goal and won us the game? Besides, since he’s rusty, Pop will most likely make him come off the bench in his first few games (not saying that Pop won’t keep him there).
