Yeah I have a lot of friends in Portland. It’s 600 miles.

But there’s a chance I’ll be heading up that way at some point anyway..

Thing is, if I don’t go to this game, not sure what Spurs game I might be able to see this year. They play the Warriors the final game of the season, but who knows if that will be a game worth seeing..

The Warriors have some great fans. I went to a game last year at the Oracle and it was great. It was the best seats I ever had in my life. Not to mention I got to meet Patrick Willis of my 49ers

Nah I wish I seen the Spurs play them. I am in the US Coast Guard currently in Alaska and while on leave I went to visit my homeboy who is stationed in San Francisco. So for his birthday I got us seats right behind the visitor bench when they played the Sixers right before christmas last season.

It was so much fun. We had Tony Battie dying laughing because we were talking so much trash about how well Spencer Hawes was playing. He turned around laughing and told us we were crazy. LOL. The place was pretty full to be playing a regular season game against a Sixer team who didn’t really start to gel yet.

Nice. Yeah I’ve had some fun there.

Also nearly got beat up a few years ago up in the nosebleed seats BY MYSELF in my Manu jersey when we blew them out by 30… damn gangsters tried to fuck with me and I had to stay real cool and just say peace while they spit their gum at me and knocked off my spurs hat.. they finally left and another guy says, “Hey Ginobili, you allright? You’re allright.”

Ah yeah man Oakland cats are crazy about there sports teams. If you rooting for the other team you better roll deep or not wear a lot of there gear. I’ve been to a few Athletic’s games and there fans are crazy also. I refuse to go to a Raider game because I’m a 49er game.

Hell no. His defense is worse than Blairs. i watched that game versus the Lakers and he was like a matador out there. Not to mention he does the same thing Bonner does with worse rebounding and defensive skills

I think Rondo sometimes gets overrated, but he’s not a scrub. He’s still in the top 10. Probably near the top 5. I have to think about it. I guess it depends if you consider Rose a PG or a 2 guard.

That was me. I’d take Paul or Rose right now. I think Parker is on par with Westbrook and Williams, and I think he’s better than current-day Nash (though not in-his-prime Nash)

I’m not so into Westbrook. He seems to not have the right temperment or something.

He is too careless with the damn ball and he seems out to prove he is as good as people say he is which is a huge problem in my book.

It makes me laugh how people say just because his numbers favor D. Rose that they are similar. Rose is pretty much option 1,2 and 3 for the Bulls on offense and he doesn’t turn the ball over as much as Westbrook who has the league leader in fucking scoring not to mention a very good player in Harden.

Westbrook is still very young. He’s on the right team though. OKC, like the Spurs are built to mold players into winning. Now that Russel has his contract, he might not be in such a rush to prove things. He even took less to help the team. That shows some maturity there.

Give him time. he’s still new to the PG position, as he came into UCLA as a 2 guard.

He’ll get better. I think he’ll be at the top of the league in a little while. Yes, I have some bias being at UCLA and being there when he was a Bruin. But Presti is damn smart. Westbrook would be a Spur if Spurs had that draft position and Presti was still wiht the team.

IIyasova can play and he is a tough guy. I would love if we could get him for a decent price. not to mention he is only like 25

Pistons got some building blocks though. Monroe is pretty solid and if the young point guard can figure out how to be a point guard that is a plus also. Stuckey is solid and I like Jonas Jerebko a lot

All the people complaining about the starting line up need to look at the minutes. Blair is barely even getting minutes and Pop is playing Tiago way more the last few games. It doesn’t matter who starts it’s who is actually getting minutes and the all important minutes in crunch time

No complaints here. I’m actually worried about what happens to Blair’s confidence.

I think that is why Blair has continued to start. They trying to keep his confidence up and also see how he fairs against the starters early.

I thought he played a good game vs. Detroit. But I guess even in Blair’s best day, Tiago’s still better.

I like that everybody’s on to the Knicks’ 7-game win streak, while completely ignoring the Spurs’ longer 9-game winning run.

Against much more credible teams (except NJ, TOR), if I may add.

Spurs would have it no other way. I wouldn’t either. Lin is an awesome story though. It’s almost like a “role model” story. In this case, I’m more than happy with it. It’s the story the NBA needed after the lockout to be honest.

I hate the Knicks, and wish Lin was elsewhere, but it is an awesome story. Although NY is the best team to get the story out there.

The Mavs are destroying the Nuggets.

They’re back to being a contender. I hate it but that’s the truth.

Last time we saw them in the playoffs it ended ok.

Their depth is scary, and Dirk is going to be Dirk in the playoff. Right now Dirk is just bored, but once the real games start he’s going to be back.

The shortened season is perfect for Half-Man, Half-a-Season.

Their defense is good. I thought they were going to fall apart without Chandler but they are doing well.

Yup. It also means that Rick Carlisle has indeed risen to a really great level in terms of coaching. That guy is a master at juggling lineups.

He proved that last year; the Heat completely out-talented the Mavs and they won by playing smart.

I’m even more impressed with what he’s doing this year. Losing Chandler was supposed to be huge, but they’ve managed to overcome it.

I have a lot of respect for him since the year of the Brawl in the Palace. He kept the Pacers focus even without their 3 best players for most of the season, and they made the playoff.

He has been pretty great since his Detroit days. he got shoved aside for Coach Brown, but I think they would have been there with Rick.

I think chandler’s importance will show up more in the post season. that said Carlisle is one of the most underrated coaches. He was in Detroit, even when they fired him.
