No. The other day I went to this Chinese supermarket and they had live Tilapia in these big fish tanks and a bunch of them were dead or dying and just floating around. I felt really bad.
So I bought an already dead Tilapia and had them fry it and it tasted pretty good so I felt better.

I’m not good at math, so correct me if I’m wrong, but that was like a 84 point turnaround for the Heat.

This was the ugliest turnaround since Mickey Rourke’s face from the 80’s to the 90’s.

how do you go from 17 points up to losing by 22? how is that possible? i’d rather we had just lost by 22 from the first quarter, but this sort of massive inconsistency is beyond frustrating.

Just curious, have we come back from more than 10 or 15 down and won a game in the last 2 seasons(regular season or playoffs)?

I remember one of the first games last season against New Orleans. Pop resorted to Smallball with Jefferson guarding David West and misteriously it worked and we beat the hell out of them.

true story – i was actually putting together a post about that, looking at last season, based on the theory that once we get down by more than 8 in the third quarter or later, we almost never make the comeback. i was compiling stats on it and everything….and the result looked to support my theory.

Spot on, that’s where I was going. I’m almost at the point where I think our guys create a mental block that they can’t come back to win after a big deficit

it must be something like that. it may have not been last season (we won too many games, i had a different theory i was working on for last season), it was the season before, but i remember what triggered it – we got behind 8 points in the third against a team (think it may have been houston?), and i remember thinking “that’s it, they won’t come back from that, i’ve seen this before”. i started looking into it, and paying attention for the rest of the season, and it happened way too frequently for us. you almost never saw a comeback from the spurs, even if it was only 8 points down, after half time.

I think it’s times like these that it’s helpful to remember Lebron disappearing in every fourth quarter of the finals. Ok, so maybe that won’t help, but it’s still something to think about.

Danny Green led the team in points with 20 and +/- with -21. How is that even possible? Mind = blown.

what’s even more mindblowing is that Mike Miller made every single one of his 3s. And Chris Bosh got 30 points. If this were 2007 there’s no way that would ever happen.

they get archived in the Game Threads

They go to game thread heaven, if they were good enough. In this case they’re buried in an unmarked place and left to rot.

They go to a big farm upstate, where they can run free.

Well, the mods print them out and go over them via conference call. If they find anything they deem to be insulting, degrading, etc, they call the Feds, send Chris Hansen to your house and ban your IP address.

I’m going to have to go with this one.

Yeah, it looks all like shooting and fun but I heard the plot is really good too. Plus the shit that goes down in Brazil makes the US look like Canada.

I’ve watched each episode about three times and the amount of care they took to make sure it looked as crappy as possible is outstanding. The overdubbing alone is hilarious.

I wish Zooey Deschanel was here to make me feel better. And her sister too.

How the hell did we get outscored about 40 to 19 approx.

I just pretend that the 1st half never happened and just put this one together with all our other road losses… Makes me feel much better… Losing by 22 sounds better than up 17 then losing by 22.

Pop did an OK job. Bonner on Bosh when they were on a run was a really bad call and he could have called for a time-out sooner but it’s not on him. Everyone played like crap. It was just one of those ~~games~~ second halves.

I have noticed this anomaly, many players have bad season or are in shooting slump till they play the Spurs and then they go ballistic on us. It is as if they are licking their chops when Spurs come into town

It will take me some time though to forget what have happened in Miami this season.

Seriously, if someone is in a shooting slump, or coming back from injury we should automatically assume that they will kill the Spurs. Its happened all season. I would not be surprised if Dwight Howards hits 100% from the free throw line tomorrow night.

Does anybody expect better game tomorrow? I don’t. Orlando has been one of the toughest match ups for us lately, we were losing to them even when we were beating pretty much everyone else.
