vs

Advantage: HEAT

Advantage: SPURS

Things the Heat need to look out for from the Spurs:
- Spot up offense
- Cuts
- Off screen
- Put backs
Things the Spurs need to look out for from the Heat:
- Iso
- Transition
- Pick and roll
Sooooo much transition offense from the Heat. I thought they were good enough to not rely on that, but perhaps I was wrong. Regardless, Spurs need to take care of the ball tonight.

Did not realize Miami was so good in transition. Will be a new challenge for our “improving” (to use the local buzzword) defense.
Trey Felder - January 17, 2012
As long as we don’t get conned into playing a pickup game we should be alright.
Fred Silva - January 17, 2012
Our bench stats vs. Heat bench stats are outstanding.

But, the question is, how well do they look when you filter for road games only? Probably not so hot.

Love these new reports.
Our bench play is going to be a huge assest tonight. I wonder if Miller will make an appearance for the Heat.

I keed. A few hours prior to the game, Josh will post a thread that will be at the first topic on the front page.
Or on the left side of the home page, you can always click “Game Threads”
which takes you here http://www.poundingtherock.com/section/Game_Threads
