yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Where’s the game at?

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

l’homme de France avec la conclusion. Que’est-ce que vous parlez, messieurs “TP has lost it” ?

WE SPEAK AMERICAN HERE.

haha sorry… I meant Tony had a great game, despite the doom-and-gloom diagnosis by some observers the previous game. will have to see if he can keep it up though.

i understood every word

especially “TP has lost his mind”

TWSS

stinker

TWSS

ew ;/

TWSS

Oh and nice avatar by the way.

thanks, i fail on finding your twin :/ when i am not looking & i come across it again i will hyperlink it to you…………… in french or aussie :)

I greatly appreciate your effort, Boots.

I had a response but you WILL TWSS it ALL over this page

I give you my word that I won’t twss your response no matter how twss-worthy it is.

that was nail biting , I called it by 8 so i was close- lotto?

What a thriller…

I hate those more than I hate shootouts.

Like 2009, and ’10. Tony kept us in most of those games, too.

Yep. We needed him tonight and the Wee Frenchman delivered.

It was a good thing to get Parker in that mode of play. Don’t want to see too many 40+ nights, but at least they are home for the rest of the week.

Ive been up since 4am. Its 11pm and I’m glad I stayed up for this game

wow i’m less than 150 comments from breaking 10,000. bloody hell that’s a lot of useless comments.

Looks like Timmy wasn’t the only one working towards a milestone tonight, eh?

let’s be honest, which is more important? mine, that’s which.

What are Melbourne Sharpies? Oh and congratulations for not having a life.

melbourne sharpies? no idea…

::googles::

huh, some movement in melbourne years ago.

I can’t learn shit about Australia from you, man.

he’s not a movement specialist maybe

I’m beginning to think he’s not even an Aussie…

strewth cobber! flat out like a lizard drinking! gday! etc

Happier than a Koala up a gum tree.
I saw that in an Outback’s commercial, so it must be a VERY Aussie saying.

yeah, never heard anyone say that one.

i want to go to one of those places one day, so i can figure out what australian cuisine is.

haaaaaaaaaaaa, whats your basic dish there?

that’s the thing, i have no idea.

ok lets go w/mac & cheese.

which isn’t all that common here.

This is your national dish, right?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blooming_onion

i was about to say “what is it?” then saw this:

Despite the implied association with Australian cuisine due to Outback Steakhouse’s branding, the dish is unknown in Australia and rarely served outside of the United States.

A single blooming onion with dressing contains approximately 3,000 calories and 134 grams of fat.

Of course it was invented here, where else.

that reminds me of the habanero chile. everyone thinks cubans eat spicey..the habanero chile is a weed on the side of the highway in Havana….most would never eat it, its toxic but they just mean it burns the hell out of your GI

I didn’t know that, that’s interesting. I always forget that you’re Cuban. How do we know you’re not a double agent?

well i could tell you but i’d have to kill you before you TWSS it ;0) I AM LETHAL

Hahaha…I’m seriously concerned about my safety.

Sharpies, or Sharps, were members of suburban youth gangs in Australia, most significantly from the 1960s and 1970s

i wasn’t even born! (well, barely by the end there)

it seems the less we play bonner the better we do.

correlation does not equal causation…normally. but in this case? …….

I have a rock here that keeps tigers away… you wanna buy it?

Actually, Blair played the least in this game. Bonner played more than him.

Heat and Clips, everyone?

Parker for Nash right?

Aaaaaaaahaha. Still laugh about this

So I guess we’ll return tanking to the back burner…

For now……

that guy has the greatest smirk of all time

nooo… doesn’t Pop realize that the only way we’re gonna win another championship is to draft… um… who is the top college guy anyway?

A win is a win. ’Night everyone.

seeya quince!

what is a quince?

Fifteen. Quinceañera is this big ass party that Latino families throw for their daughters when they turn 15. Wasting a lot of money that could be better invested or saved through generations in order to close the massive wealth gap between minorities and whites.

my dad would agree w/you. He gave me $500, a dog tag and said we dont have family here anyway-lol.

I like that, a very practical man. With 500 bucks you can buy nice boots like the ones in your avatar.

I only caught overtime (NBA companion) and I was surprised to see a lineup of Timmy, Tiago, Tony, Kawhi and RJ. Did we play this big lineup a lot? Was Pop experimenting or was this just an adjustment to Lowry at SF for the Rockets?

he started TP, Kawhi, RJ, Blair, TD.

I like it that Kawhi is going to see more time at the 3. It means the five on the floor are going to be a bit bigger overall.

the way RJ is shooting, Pop might stick with this starting group for a while.

No Manu and Neal playing the point with TJ out may have caused that. I just hope Anderson logs some minutes to be able to improve his play.

Neal’s D just is lame, so yeah, you can’t leave him as the starting 2.

Yes. That was the most common line up. There was also Timmy/Green/RJ/Leonard/Tony in the end of the 4th.

Well, back to my endless laundry pile. Night, y’all.

i feel ya, my washer broke last night

Ugh. That should qualify you for FEMA assistance.

hey i like that idea, where’s the line?

78-78 lakers Utah 21.4sec

Hate to say it but Kobe has looked pretty good so far this season

Mike Brown is the ultimate motivator

He’s a players coach. That’s one reason why he was the mentor for Sjax with the Spurs.

He has more freedom with Mike Brown

Duncan and Ginobili are taking a trip to Germany in the off-season.

Good Game

I dont think KoMe has passed the ball yet.

Yay….my work let me watch the last quarter and the OT of the game. I’m glad we have Kawhi on our side, he is fastly improving and a blessing for Spurs.

How about Timmeh. I almost cried when he displayed a bit of emotion after making a bank shot and walking to the bench for a time out. The dude deserves major applause.

And TP was tuned in today which was great to see.

I think he’s been pacing himself and tonight he knew when to break out. Pop had to remind him to adjust it seems.

I dont like that Tony had to play out of his mind for the Spurs to pull one out…

6th game in 8 nights. Dallas came to the Spurs on their 6th and didn’t show up. So, I’ll take it.

I’m out people. Great win tonight.

Kobe misses… OT.

He is pist

That means he aint passin

OH yea, he’ll throw up anything…

I love LP with this website.

LA hasn’t won on the road

Josh Howard for 3!

Millsap is beasting.

i am not staying for the other games-ciao

Gasol for three, LMAO

thats a weak call

Nearly a cappry by Kobe

carry*

I think he does on every dribble

Cappry= Continous Crab Dribble

lakers up 1 with 1.03 left

4 people on Kobe, he still shoots

his wrist will eventually give in

lakers up 1 with .7 sec

enought time for catch and shoot

Atleast Portland’s losing by 21 at home.

i’ll take it

TWSS

Losing to an East team too. We’re gonna need every one of those.

Don’t like. They’ll want blood on Friday.

I just caught the OT and Leonard was clutch

Blake and Chris Paul have combine for 28 of LAC’s 32 points? Sorry, that team is not going to last in the playoffs.

They don’t play D also.

Starting lineup should be like this
>Parker
>Leonard
>RJ
>Duncan
>Splitter

We need SIZE!! and defense

I was mad at the 4 quarter … we were losing at matt bonner was there!

I just got to see the Jefferson 3. I was hoping we held on. Good win!

Rocket fans over at the dream shake are all crying “Refs”, it was a great game and great win.

THEY’RE crying????!!! They had a questionable call go their way in the closing seconds of the 4th.

They did get a goal tend and then that weird out of bounce play where Spurs never had possession.

But that’s how it goes. Both teams lose out from time to time.

Tony Parker lay up that touched the glass and then was hit by one of the rockets players, the other basket interference while the ball was above the cylinder from a Leonard shot near the rim, and I still don’t see how they believed Green had possession of the ball near our basket while their shot clock was winding down. That’s just off the top of my head. But, you can’t blame the rockets fans, most fans blame the refs, it’s just the nature of basketball unfortunately.

I seem to recall a lot of Spurs posters blaming the refs too

You mean against the Bucks? That’s ridiculous. The officials were great in that game. Who would drag the good name of those officials through the mud?

I meant at the end of this game’s regulation

I know, I was just messing around since I complained about the refs in my last recap.

In the last 3 games Ian Mahinmi average more minutes than lamar odom … and they are winning, so lamar was the problem?

Orlando might have a breakdown

Did you see Pop try to kill me by taking Green out for Anderson? Thankfully Anderson continued to suck and he relied on Green down the stretch.

Pop is nothing if not hard headed. A game last year comes to mind, Neal was red hot. The Spurs needed a 3 pointer to win the game against Porland. Ginobili was barely coming back from injury and was cold. What does he do? He subs the red hot Neal for Gino, Gino misses the shot, Spurs lose.

Pop loves challenges.

In his defense, I think it’s in his best interest to try to get Anderson back to playing well though. Anderson has shown it in the past.

I havent seen him play much, but I have yet to be impressed with any aspect of Andersons game, except when he occasionally gets hot from three point land. I certainly hope he is capable of playing as well as you say, at least on a semi-consistent basis.

I’ve seen enough of Anderson to see it. It’s just gotten messier without Manu and now Ford. I think for JA, it’s a confidence thing since he looked good even though he didn’t hit his shot earlier in the season. I think he misses Manu a lot.

Green is pretty young too but has more experience. And Leonard is a defense first type of player. He’s also bigger so that gives him advantages that are easy to utilize.

RJ killing it is sort of throwing a wrench in everything. I don’t think they should amnesty him any longer. I know he and Kawhi spent a lot of the summer together. The competition appears to be driving him among other factors.

JA looked good last year before his injury, I’ll give you that. But this year he has looked awful. He doesn’t look like a basketball player. Did you see that fast break last night? It would be best described as uncoordinated. He looks uncomfortable and slow every time he dribbles. That’s a bad sign. There is nothing fluid about his game right now. I think we should throw him to the D-League so he can get 30+ minutes a game and hopefully figure it out.

I like the D-League idea. I thought he looked fluid in the preseason games and the first few before LWM. But without practices, I can see where it is all going to crap. The more I think about it, the less I want Joseph around the team, unless he’s actually going to play.

Some extra thoughts… Lack of camp is probably hurting JA along with practice. Pop’s been a little bit different this year. Pop has kept a short leash trying to go with the hot hand. That seems to be the biggest thing at play now.

Gerald Wallace wants to foul him.

Good stuff, guys. Getting over that hump.

that blazers crowd is so loud it’s distorting the mics….

Orlando stinks. They’re blowing this lead in Spurs like fashion.

That team is probably done. They f&cked themselves up with that retarded ass trade just 1 year after going to the finals.

if they lose this, Howard will go bonkers

Na, he will have plenty of time to go Bonkers next season in LA or Dallas.

Really? Dwight Howard is 45.1% from the free throw line this season?! 2-12 tonight?? I don’t care if he is the best big man in the game – that is unacceptable.

Respectively, Lowry over Parker? No way.

How is that possibly even? Im telling you early that Parker, All Star, Finals MVP goes off tonight.

Spurs Yoda 10:52 am

You sir have Jedi Powers.

Only if their were sports books on Dagoba

Orlando just doesn’t care tonight!

Orlando didn’t deserve that win at the end, but I’m glad they beat Portland.

I can’t believe we won that game. Poor Tim was so done by overtime. Missing freethrows, layups, wide open jumpers. That last jumper that grazed the front of the rim said it all. No legs.

We need to get malcom involved early.

we need to get him in the middle of the paint

Malcolm in the Middle! rim shot

But he made that key basket right after. He had no legs, but he still was key in that win. I’ll take it. RJ’s basket, thankfully gave them that extra push and they never looked back, except Lowry made it tough.

I hope no Rockets fans see this… Tim walked on that play. He drove the lane, got stuck, and walked. Those legs were dead. He has heart. We all know that. Chris Webber would have passed that ball, gotten it back, passed it, gotten it back, passed it, shot clock violation.

I’m fine if they do. That out of bounce (where the shot clock should have run out before the game clock) play near the end of the 4th quarter and goal tending are two things that Houston got away with. So it balanced itself out.

Yup, that overtime should have never happened. They didn’t have control of the ball and Scola had lost it to the Spurs when the ref blew the whistle and gave them the timeout. I was flipping out at the AT&T Center.

Props to TD21 running the iron man tonight.

Wow, Clips are taking Miami to OT.

So, I’m hearing great things about Kawhi’s defense down the stretch. Love it.

Yep. Good call. I was not sure how I’d feel about that. But if Kawhi is going to play 35+ minutes, then it really doesn’ t matter if he starts or comes off the bench. Even with Anderson struggling at the moment (I think he’ll come back strong), they are still strongest at the wings. Both RJ and Leonard is nice.

I also liked Pop’s big small ball in the 4th: TD/TP/Green/RJ/KL (Green was later taken out for Splits)

Great win! Nerve-wracking, but fun.

Kawhi’s defense and rebounds kept them in the game late.

He is really looking more comfortable out there.

I loved when Timmy wrapped his arm around Kawhi near the end. Awwwww.

good work ladies gentlemans

Some numbers

6 – Rebounds for Kawhi Leonard in the fourth quarter and overtime. He grabbed four in overtime.

11 — Consecutive possessions that Houston scored during San Antonio’s defensive struggles late in the first quarter.

45:18 – Parker’s playing time — most in a game since he played 47:44 on Dec. 27, 2008.

65.0 — Houston’s shooting percentage in the first quarter.

Nice! you should compile more data like this and make it a fanpost!

Sure. Those numbers are not mine (MYSA), but i’ll figure out something, soon.
